Sound Baths at The Well
The practice of using sound for healing and spiritual purposes dates back thousands of years across multiple cultures. In these traditions, sound is not just aesthetic but spiritual and therapeutic. It is used to clear the heart and mind, balance energy fields, and connect with higher states of consciousness. Instruments of sound are functional tools for co-creating sacred spaces.
While rooted in ancient practice, the modern sound bath emerged in the 20th and 21st centuries, popularized in natural settings, yoga studios, wellness centers, faith communities, and corporate retreats.
Scientifically, steady tones can help the nervous system stay within one's 'Resiliency Zone' - reducing stress and promoting relaxation and emotional balance. (realitypathing.com)
