Digging Deep with The Well is a chance to gather in community to learn, to witness, and to grow together. Each Digging Deep event will invite an artist, a thinker, a poet, an expert, or a leader to share about their work and how it intersects with mental health and spirituality. We will also raise money to support the mission of The Well through donations and a local art silent auction.

In 2026, we have invited artist and author Scott Erickson to share with us about his new book co-written with Justin McRoberts called In the Low: Honest Prayers for Dark Seasons. In addition to hearing from Scott, there will be a silent auction with many pieces from local artists: paintings, wood carvings, pottery, quilting, knitwear, and more. Proceeds from the auction will go to support The Well and local artists. Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served.

Doors open at 6:30 PM for the silent auction, with an additional ten minutes for bidding at 8:20 PM after the presentation. Free parking is available at the event location (1200 N. Salem Street, Apex, NC, 27502). Attire is casual/comfortable.
